GMR Infra drops as net loss widens in Q3

GMR Infrastructure lost 0.76% to Rs 19.55 at 9:33 IST on BSE after the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 441.09 crore in Q3 December 2013, higher than net loss of Rs 217.45 crore in Q3 December 2012.

The Q3 result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 11 February 2014.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 87.94 points or 0.43% at 20,451.31.

On BSE, so far 14,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4.66 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

The stock was volatile. The stock lost as much as 1.52% at the day's low of Rs 19.40 so far during the day. The stock rose as much as 0.5% at the day's high of Rs 19.80 so far during the day.

GMR Infrastructure's total income rose 13.89% to Rs 2783.54 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.

GMR Infrastructure is a global infrastructure major with interests in airports, energy, highways and urban infrastructure sectors.
