Govt. to divest 3% stake in Coal India

Floor prices for OFS is Rs 266 per share

The President of India, acting through and represented by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India (the "Seller") is Offering for sale up to 18,62,22,275 (3%) equity shares of face value of Rs. 10 each of Coal India (the "Company") (Base Offer Size), on 31 October 2018 (T day), (for non-Retail Investors only) and on 01 November 2018 (T+1 day) (for Retail Investors and non-Retail Investors who choose to carry forward their unallotted bids) with an option to additionally sell 37,24,44,550 (6%) equity shares of the Company (the Oversubscription Option and in event the Oversubscription Option is exercised, the equity shares forming part of the Base Offer Size and the Oversubscription Option will, collectively, hereinafter be referred to as Offer Shares.

In case the Oversubscription Option is not exercised, the equity shares forming part of the Base Offer Size will hereinafter be referred to as Offer Shares) through a separate, designated window of the BSE (the BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (the NSE and together with BSE, the Stock Exchanges, collectively representing 9% of the total paid up equity share capital of the Company on 30 October 2018, and such offer hereinafter referred as the Offer).

The floor price for the Offer shall be Rs 266 per equity share of the Company.
