Hong Kong Market trading halts on Typhoon Kompasu warning

Hong Kong stock market closed for trading on Wednesday, 13 October 2021, because of Typhoon Kompasu warning. Hong Kong Observatory upgraded the typhoon warning to Signal 8, the third highest, and said it will remain in force until 4pm. The Hang Seng Index slipped 1.4% on Tuesday from a four-week high after tech stocks surrendered all of their gains from Monday.
