India reported 39,796 new cases in last 24 hours. The active caseload in the country declined to 4,82,071. Active cases constitute 1.58% of total cases while 2,97,00,430 total recoveries were seen across the country so far. 42,352 patients recovered during last 24 hours. Daily recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 53rd consecutive day. The recovery rate increased to 97.11%. Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.40%. Daily positivity rate stood at 2.61%, less than 5% for 28 consecutive days. Testing capacity was substantially ramped up with 41.97 cr tests totally conducted. 35.28 crore vaccine doses were administered so far under nationwide vaccination drive.
