India Retail Inflation Slows To 4.35% In September

Retail inflation growth in India based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) eased to 4.35 per cent in the month of September following a 5.30 percent in August, the data released by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) showed. The food price inflation eased to 0.68 percent from 3.11 percent in the previous month. Clothing and footwear prices rose 7.16 percent annually. Fuel and light prices climbed 13.63 percent.
