Services trade surplus improves to US$ 5.81 billion in August 2015
As per the data released by the Reserve Bank of India, India's services exports increased 10.9% to US$ 13.58 billion in August 2015 over August 2014. Meanwhile, India's services imports jumped 14.9% to US$ 7.77 billion in August 2015.Thus, India's services trade surplus improved 6.1% to US$ 5.81 billion in August 2015 from US$ 5.47 billion in August 2014.
India's services trade surplus fell 3.6% to US$ 28.18 billion, with 2.3% dip in services exports to US$ 64.62 billion in April-August 2015 over a year ago. India's services imports declined 1.2% to US$ 36.44 billion in April-August 2015.
