Indiabulls Housing slips after weak Q3 performance

Indiabulls Housing Finance fell 1.03% to Rs 273.90 after consolidated net profit fell 44% to Rs 551.70 crore in Q3 December 2019 as compared to Rs 985.51 crore reported in Q3 December 2018.

Total income stood at Rs 3369.76 crore in Q3 December 2019, down by 24.7% from Rs 4477.97 crore in Q3 December 2018. The result was declared after market hours yesterday.

Profit before tax declined 55.8% to Rs 613.15 crore in Q3 December 2019 from Rs 1387.51 crore in the same period last year.

Net interest income (NII) in the December quarter stood at Rs 987 crore as compared to Rs 1,252 crore in the December quarter last fiscal, registering a year-on-year (YoY) fall of 21.16%.

Gross NPAs as a percentage of total loan assets stood at 1.94% as on 31 December 2019 as against 1.51% as on 30 September 2019 and 0.79% as on 31 December 2018.

Net NPAs as a percentage of total loan assets stood at 1.39% as on 31 December 2019 as against 1.07% as on 30 September 2019 and 0.59% as on 31 December 2018.
