Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 100.26 points, or 0.37%, to 27,240.67Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On BSE, so far 12.45 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with average daily volume of 10.47 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 247.60 and a low of Rs 243.65 so far during the day.

ITC's net profit rose 10.5% to Rs 2500.03 crore on 10.28% increase in total income to Rs 10136.06 crore in Q2 September 2016 over Q2 September 2015.
