Jaiprakash Associates leads losers in 'A' group

Central Bank of India, ICRA, SJVN and Bharat Heavy Electricals are among the other losers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 15 September 2017.

Jaiprakash Associates dropped 4% to Rs 20.40 at 13:00 IST after the report suggested that Supreme Court has directed the company to pay Rs 50 lakh to ten home buyers of Kalypso project in Noida. The stock topped the losers in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 35.55 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 86.97 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Central Bank of India dropped 3.77% at Rs 91.90. The stock was second biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.47 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 8.32 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

ICRA declined 3.57% to Rs 3,780.25. The stock was the third loser gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 44 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 75 shares in the past two weeks.

SJVN dropped 3.54% at Rs 32.70. The stock was fourth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 50,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 63,000 shares in the past two weeks.

Bharat Heavy Electricals fell 3.17% to Rs 133.05. The stock was fifth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 10.7 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.62 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
