Kajaria Ceramics rose 1.72% to Rs 496 on BSE after the company said its board approved the scheme of amalgamation for merger of Kajaria Tiles, a wholly-owned subsidiary, with the company.
The announcement was made after trading hours yesterday, 26 August 2019.
Shares of Kajaria Ceramics rose 6.35% in two trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 496, from a recent closing low of Rs 466.35 on 23 August 2019.
On BSE, 9,261 shares were traded in Kajaria Ceramics counter, compared to a 2-week average of 24,000 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 499.50 and an intraday low of Rs 487.40.
It hit a 52-week high of Rs 648.85 on 31 May 2019 and a 52-week low of Rs 316.20 on 23 October 2018.
Kajaria Ceramics is a tile company engaged in the manufacturing and trading of ceramics, polished and glazed vitrified tiles.
