Manappuram Finance rose 5.33% to Rs 87 at 18:15 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit rose 40.66% to Rs 224 crore on 22.30% increase in total income to Rs 1027.52 crore in Q2 September 2018 over Q2 September 2017.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 6 November 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 252.04 points, or 0.72% to 35,243.95.
On the BSE, 1.75 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.24 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 87.40 and a low of Rs 83.65 so far during the day.
