The Nifty 50 index rose 35.30 points or 0.32% to settle at 11,167.30. Better-than-expected June 2018 quarterly results from index pivotals boosted sentiment on the domestic bourses.
The trading activity on that day showed that the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 2453.57 crore yesterday, 26 July 2018, as per provisional data released by the stock exchanges. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 2716.04 crore yesterday, 26 July 2018, as per provisional data.
Among corporate news,HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank and Reliance Industries will announce their June 2018 quarterly result today, 27 July 2018.
