Back home,trading for the week ended on a buoyant note on Friday, 22 June 2018 as the key benchmark indices logged modest gains amid high intraday volatility. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, gained 257.21 points or 0.73% at 35,689.60. The Nifty 50 index gained 80.75 points or 0.75% at 10,821.85.
The trading activity on that day showed that the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 1343.44 crore on Friday, 22 June 2018, as per provisional data released by the stock exchanges. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1105.76 crore on Friday, 22 June 2018, as per provisional data.
