NBCC (India) rose 4.19% to Rs 52.25 at 15:05 IST on BSE after the company received a letter of award of work from Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for construction of office building at New Delhi.
The announcement was made during market hours today, 12 December 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 614.46 points or 1.75% at 35,764.47
On the BSE, 7.53 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 8.42 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 52.90 and a low of Rs 50.25 so far during the day.
NBCC (India) said that the company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) of work from Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India for construction of office building i.e. Kaushal Bhawan at New Delhi. The estimated cost of project is Rs 172 crore (approx).
NBCC (India)'s consolidated net profit fell 10.44% to Rs 72.76 crore on 3.57% rise in net sales to Rs 1366.41 crore in Q2 September 2018 over Q2 September 2017.
NBCC (India) is present in three segments of operations including project management consultancy (PMC), real estate development and EPC contracting.
