F&O segment turnover at Rs 7.74 lakh crore
The Nifty October 2018 futures traded at 11072, a premium of 63.70 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11008.30 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was at Rs 7.74 lakh crore.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 77.85 points or 0.71% to settle at 11,008.30.
Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries and Yes Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Bajaj Finance October 2018 futures traded at 2232.95, at a premium from spot closing price of 2218. Reliance Industries October 2018 futures traded at 1242.90, at a premium from spot closing price of 1235.60. Yes Bank October 2018 futures traded at 201, at a premium from spot closing price of 199.85.
The October 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 25 October 2018.
