NMDC Ltd Surges 5.45%, S&P BSE Metal index Gains 3.65%

NMDC Ltd has lost 11.16% over last one month compared to 31.8% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 24.45% drop in the SENSEX

NMDC Ltd gained 5.45% today to trade at Rs 81.2. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 3.65% to quote at 5620.32. The index is down 31.8 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hindalco Industries Ltd increased 5.35% and JSW Steel Ltd added 4.6% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 51.52 % over last one year compared to the 25.56% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

NMDC Ltd has lost 11.16% over last one month compared to 31.8% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 24.45% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 34091 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5.09 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 139.5 on 23 Jan 2020. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 62 on 13 Mar 2020.
