Oberoi Realty leads gainers in 'A' group

Eicher Motors, Godrej Consumer Products, Castrol India and HDIL are among the other gainers

Oberoi Realty spurted 15.24% to Rs 272.60 after hitting a 52-week high of Rs 283.85 in intraday trade. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Eicher Motors gained 8.46% to Rs 11,088.95 after scaling a record high of Rs 11,413.85 in intraday trade. It was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock gained 13.71% in three trading days from recent low of Rs 9,751.60 on 28 August 2014 after the company reported strong sales in August 2014 during market hours on 1 September 2014. Eicher Motors reported 66% rise in total motorcycle sales to 26,643 units in August 2014 over August 2013.

Godrej Consumer Products jumped 7.33% to Rs 1,077.25 after scaling a record high of Rs 1,095.05 in intraday trade. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Castrol India surged 5.88% to Rs 383.25 after scaling a record high of Rs 387.10 in intraday trade. It was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

HDIL rose 5.51% to Rs 98.70 and was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
