Om Metals Infraprojects rose 1.07% to Rs 70.85 at 15:00 IST on BSE after the company said it bagged a letter of intent for completion of balance work of North Koel reservoir project in Jharkhand.
The announcement was made during trading hours today, 22 November 2017.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 101.80 points, or 0.30% to 33,580.15.
On the BSE, 1.16 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 1.91 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 72.80 and a low of Rs 69.20 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 84.35 on 3 November 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 38.30 on 22 March 2017.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past 30 days till 21 November 2017, falling 9.26% compared with 2.99% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 29.57% as against Sensex's 6.05% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one year, rising 74.16% as against Sensex's 28.96% rise.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 9.63 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.
Om Metals Infraprojects announced that it has secured letter of intent (LoI) from WAPCOS for completion of balance work of North Koel reservoir project in Jharkhand at the quoted amount of Rs 38.54 crore.
Net profit of Om Metals Infraprojects rose 102.78% to Rs 10.93 crore on 106.80% rise in net sales to Rs 105.26 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
