Peninsula Land rose 5.91% to Rs 25.10 at 11:15 IST on BSE after the company entered into an agreement for the sale of its property located in Pune for Rs 226 crore.
The announcement was made after market hours on Friday, 29 September 2017.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 262.15 points, or 0.84% to 31,545.87.
On the BSE, 3.93 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 4.46 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 26.25 and a low of Rs 24.70 so far during the day.
Peninsula Land reported net loss of Rs 31.26 crore in Q1 June 2017 as against net profit of Rs 1.54 crore in Q1 June 2016. Net sales rose 210.57% to Rs 75.25 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
