PHDCCI & IJC Sign MoU For Business Development Between India & Japan

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and Indo Japan Consultants Private Limited (IJC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the opportunities of business development and cooperation between industries of the two countries.

The MoU was signed following initiatives of the President of PHDCCI Mr. Alok B. Shriram who feels that though the intense and diverse business activities are already on between India and Japan but the businesses of the two still need to explore the opportunities of business development and cooperation.

Prior to signing the MoU, Mr. Shriram along with members of IJC met the Ambassador of Japan Mr. Takeshi Yagi at the Japanese Embassy and discussed at length on the partnership and its objectives on Monday. Mr. Yagi assured the delegates a comprehensive support from his end.

The MoU which is signed here today between the Secretary General, PHDCCI, Mr. Saurabh Sanyal and Senior Advisor of IJC, Mr. Tatsuo Nishimoto will initially stay effective for two years and is subjected to subsequent review and renewal.

Mr. Shriram said that as per stipulations of the MoU, the IJC will coordinate, advice and actively assist PHDCCI in collaboration between India and Japan. It will also facilitate the visit of one high power PHDCCI delegation to Japan every year and also one Japanese delegation visit to PHDCCI, India. This will be made as a calendar event.

The IJC will also make relevant introductions based on its deep insight of the industries in the two countries and special knowledge of the bilateral interests. It will also help the PHDCCI members interested in collaboration to find partners, suppliers, investors investment targets, technology, human resource and other possible collaboration under a separate contract between PHDCCI members and IJC individually.
