Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 1.12%

Nifty Realty index closed down 1.12% at 265.05 today. The index has lost 1.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Unitech Ltd fell 3.95%, Phoenix Mills Ltd shed 2.61% and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd dropped 2.36%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 8.00% over last one year compared to the 15.32% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index has slid 1.05% and Nifty Metal index added 1.05% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.38% to close at 11476.95 while the SENSEX has declined 0.37% to close at 38018.31 today.
