Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 1.66%

Nifty Realty index closed down 1.66% at 268.8 today. The index has added 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd jumped 3.78%, DLF Ltd dropped 2.90% and Godrej Properties Ltd fell 2.39%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 5.00% over last one year compared to the 11.54% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Auto index has slid 1.44% and Nifty Pharma index increased 1.32% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.89% to close at 11244.7 while the SENSEX has declined 0.95% to close at 37165.16 today.
