Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 1.76%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.76% at 262.45 today. The index is down 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd gained 4.49%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd rose 2.37% and Oberoi Realty Ltd added 2.28%. The Nifty Realty index is down 2.00% over last one year compared to the 3.85% decline in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Infrastructure index added 1.69% and Nifty Private Bank index increased 1.59% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.79% to close at 10948.25 while the SENSEX added 0.75% to close at 36976.85 today.
