Rupee close steady

At 61.19/20 per dollar

The Indian rupee closed unchanged on Friday (14 March 2014) at 61.19/20 per dollar, recovering from one-week lows compared to its Thursday's close of 61.17/18, as FIIs continued strong buying in the share and debt markets. Thus, it offset global concerns about military tensions in Ukraine and China's economy.
