Rupee closes worser

At 60.37/38 per dollar

Rupee closed at 60.37/38 per dollar on Wednesday (16 April 2014), compared to its previous close of 60.18/19 per dollar on Tuesday.

The rupee closed at its two-and-half-months due to profit-taking in the domestic sharemarket by offshore investors hurting the local unit.
