Rupee gains

Indian rupee closed at 62.16/17 per dollar on Friday (03 January 2014), against its previous close of 62.26/27 per dollar on Thursday.

The recovery is due to the reports of central bank's intervention selling dollars to pull back rupee from its one month low,
