Rupee gains on positive Chinese data

At 61.0950/1050 per dollar

Rupee closed higher at 61.0950/1050 per dollar on Monday (13 October 2014) thanks to stronger-than-expected China trade data inspite of global economy concerns. Rupee was at 61.34/35 per dollar in the closing hours on Friday.
