Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which State Bank of India is a constituent, has dropped around 32.71% in last one month and is currently quoting at 18481.05, up 9.92% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 742.93 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 855.84 lakh shares in last one month.
The benchmark March futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 197, up 2.98% on the day. State Bank of India is down 36.2% in last one year as compared to a 23.82% fall in NIFTY and a 32.33% fall in the Nifty Bank index.
The PE of the stock is 17.52 based on TTM earnings ending December 19.
