Sugar stocks sizzle on buying demand

Shares of eight sugar companies rose 3.49% to 8.16% at 15:25 IST on BSE on steady buying demand.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 29.28 points, or 0.09% to 33,602.30.

Shree Renuka Sugars (up 8.16%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar (up 5.61%), Balrampur Chini Mills (up 3.49%), Sakthi Sugars (up 5.6%), Simbhaoli Sugar (up 5.41%), Rana Sugars (up 4.89%), Triveni Engineering & Industries (up 4.36%) and Dwarikesh Sugar Industries (up 3.09%) rose.
