TIL slumps as net loss widens in Q2

TIL lost 5.3% at Rs 369 at 11:35 IST on BSE after the company reported consolidated net loss of Rs 8.36 crore in Q2 September 2014, higher than net loss of Rs 7.79 crore in Q2 September 2013.

The Q2 result was announced on Saturday, 25 October 2014.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 18.68 points or 0.07% at 26,832.37.

On BSE, so far 4,273 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4,328 shares over the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 393.50 and a low of Rs 361.70 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 108.05 on 18 November 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 451.50 on 7 July 2014.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 23 October 2014, advancing 0.71% compared with Sensex's 0.28% rise. The scrip had, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 6.89% as against Sensex's 2.69% rise.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 10.03 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

TIL's consolidated total income from operations declined 9.76% to Rs 297.59 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013.
