Vodafone Idea Ltd Surges 12.16%, S&P BSE Telecom index Gains 3.08%

Vodafone Idea Ltd has added 23.35% over last one month compared to 4.76% gain in S&P BSE Telecom index and 2.55% rise in the SENSEX

Vodafone Idea Ltd gained 12.16% today to trade at Rs 6.55. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 3.08% to quote at 975.23. The index is up 4.76 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Optiemus Infracom Ltd increased 4.95% and Reliance Communications Ltd added 3.9% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 2.49 % over last one year compared to the 9.59% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Vodafone Idea Ltd has added 23.35% over last one month compared to 4.76% gain in S&P BSE Telecom index and 2.55% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 19.95 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 179.66 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 27.51 on 21 Nov 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 4.83 on 29 Aug 2019.
