Vodafone Idea rose 1.34% to Rs 9.85 at 11:42 IST on BSE on bargain hunting after a recent slide.
Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was up 107.56 points or 0.28% at 37,938.54.
The counter witnessed huge volumes. On BSE, 12.75 crore shares were traded in Vodafone Idea counter, compared to a 2-week average of 1.74 crore shares.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 10. It hit an intraday low of Rs 9.52, which is also 52-week low for the counter. It hit a 52-week high of Rs 36.78 on 27 July 2018.
Shares of Vodafone Idea plunged 18.79% in the past six trading sessions to settle at Rs 9.72 yesterday, 25 July 2019, from its close of Rs 11.97 on 17 July 2019.
On a consolidated basis, Vodafone Idea reported a net loss of Rs 3,736.32 crore in Q4 March 2019 as compared to a net loss of Rs 962.20 crore in Q4 March 2018. Net sales surged 91.8% to Rs 11,740.60 crore in Q4 March 2019 over Q4 March 2018.
