Ahluwalia Contracts (India) clocked volume of 23.53 lakh shares by 14:11 IST on BSE, a 1053.59 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,233 shares. The stock rose 0.04% at Rs 255.20.
Ester Industries saw volume of 9.58 lakh shares, a 10.65-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 90,000 shares. The stock surged 20% at Rs 78.40.
Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company saw volume of 8.49 lakh shares, a 8.96-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 95,000 shares. The stock advanced 5.09% at Rs 62.95
Godfrey Phillips India clocked volume of 1.88 lakh shares, a 7.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock jumped 16.66% at Rs 1,325.65.
EID Parry India notched up volume of 4.91 lakh shares, a 6.58-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 75,000 shares. The stock gained 9.75% at Rs 210.
