Volumes jump at Cyient counter

TTK Healthcare, GTL Infrastructure, WABCO India, and Tata Elxsi are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 19 September 2014.

Cyient clocked volume of 3.99 lakh shares by 13:37 IST on BSE, a 60.23-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock lost 0.15% at Rs 476.30.

TTK Healthcare notched up volume of 63,000 shares, a 16.58-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock jumped 17.57% at Rs 914.

GTL Infrastructure saw volume of 2.24 crore shares, a 14.36-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 15.66 lakh shares. The stock was locked at 5% upper circuit at Rs 3.16 after the ompany has entered into Master Services Agreement (MSA) for tower infrastructure sharing with Reliance Jio Infocomm (Reliance Jio), a subsidiary of Reliance Industries (RIL). The announcement was made after market hours on Thursday, 18 September 2014.

WABCO India clocked volume of 21,000 shares, a 12.94-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 0.48% at Rs 3,697.

Tata Elxsi saw volume of 8.83 lakh shares, a 10.39-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 85,000 shares. The stock spurted 12.55% at Rs 683.80.
