Volumes jump at D B Corp counter

Bajaj Electricals, Mahindra CIE Automotive, Tata Motors DVR, and Astra Microwave Products are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 9 April 2014.

D B Corp clocked volume of 58.50 lakh shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 2194.30-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock lost 0.67% at Rs 290.25 after 2.79% equity changed hands in a large bulk deal on BSE today, 9 April 2014. A bulk deal of 51.36 lakh shares was executed on D B Corp counter at Rs 301 per share at 10:23 IST on BSE today, 9 April 2014.

Bajaj Electricals notched up volume of 2.05 lakh shares, a 12.8-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock rose 3.63% at Rs 275.45.

Mahindra CIE Automotive saw volume of 8.46 lakh shares, a 11.29-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 75,000 shares. The stock was locked at 20% upper circuit at Rs 97.85.

Tata Motors DVR clocked volume of 6.84 lakh shares, a 7.18-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 95,000 shares. The stock surged 5.51% at Rs 230.70.

Astra Microwave Products saw volume of 10.41 lakh shares, a 4.57-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2.28 lakh shares. The stock spurted 7.36% at Rs 64.95.
