Volumes jump at Endurance Technologies counter

Ucal Fuel Solutions, S Chand and Company, NBCC (India) and TeamLease Services are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE at 13:50 IST today, 11 December 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 139.57 points or 0.42% at 33,389.87.

Endurance Technologies clocked volume of 6.1 lakh shares, a 141.92-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock declined 2.64% at Rs 1,219.10.

Ucal Fuel Solutions notched up volume of 3.69 lakh shares, a 51.71-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock hit 20% upper circuit at Rs 235.20 at 10:00 IST on BSE after net profit surged 99% to Rs 15.98 crore on 4.8% rise in net sales to Rs 158.50 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016. The result was announced on Saturday, 9 December 2017.

S Chand and Company saw volume of 1.59 lakh shares, a 38.8-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock declined 0.89% at Rs 478.15.

NBCC (India) clocked volume of 76.22 lakh shares, a 31.41-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.43 lakh shares. The stock dropped 1.6% at Rs 255.20 after a bulk deal of 73.47 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 262.95 per share at 09:18 IST on BSE.

The Government of India (GOI), has offered upto 67.5 lakh equity shares to eligible employees of NBCC (India) at a discounted price of Rs 156.12 per share (i.e. after discount to the cut-off price discovered in the OFS and bonus issue adjustments). Action has been initiated by the company for sale of equity shares to the eligible employees by the GOI. The offer for sale shall remain open from 28 December 2017 to 5 January 2018. The announcement was made after market hours on Friday, 8 December 2017.

TeamLease Services saw volume of 81,000 shares, a 30.7-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.72% at Rs 2,252.10.
