Volumes jump at Fortune Financial Services India counter

MphasiS, ABB India, Lakshmi Vilas Bank and Hexaware Technologies are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 4 February 2016.

Fortune Financial Services India clocked volume of 20.61 lakh shares by 12:25 IST on BSE, a 73.06-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 28,000 shares. The stock rose 5.99% to Rs 162.90.

MphasiS notched up volume of 2.12 lakh shares, a 58.61-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock rose 4.54% to Rs 453.60.

ABB India saw volume of 1.54 lakh shares, a 27.54-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock rose 12.01% to Rs 1,126 after net profit rose 53.75% to Rs 129.40 crore on 8.11% increase in total income to Rs 2435.89 crore in Q4 December 2015 over Q4 December 2014. The result was announced during trading hours today, 4 February 2016.

Lakshmi Vilas Bank clocked volume of 6.81 lakh shares, a 11.26-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 60,000 shares. The stock rose 0.21% to Rs 95.25.

Hexaware Technologies saw volume of 6.55 lakh shares, a 8.27-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 79,000 shares. The stock rose 5.07% to Rs 235.
