Magma Fincorp clocked volume of 95.67 lakh shares by 13:50 IST on BSE, a 429.04-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock rose 3.49% at Rs 96.25.
Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) notched up volume of 19.91 lakh shares, a 77.42-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock declined 3.26% at Rs 111.25.
APL Apollo Tubes saw volume of 1.31 lakh shares, a 65.50-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock surged 6.2% at Rs 397.20.
Apollo Tyres clocked volume of 59.10 lakh shares, a 31.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.9 lakh shares. The stock gained 4.23% at Rs 172.40.
D B Corp saw volume of 1.72 lakh shares, a 12.79-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock dropped 1.12% at Rs 364.95. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India said yesterday, 30 March 2015, that it received total 28 applications by 27 March 2015, the last date of receipt of application, in connection with the e-auction of 135 private FM radio channels in 69 existing cities of Phase II in the first batch of Phase III e-auction. D B Corp was one of the applicants in the upcoming auction of FM radio channels.
