Persistent Systems clocked volume of 1.27 lakh shares by 12:27 IST on BSE, a 26.47-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock rose 0.29% to Rs 1,302.60.
V-Guard Industries notched up volume of 1.06 lakh shares, a 17.09-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock rose 0.88% to Rs 912.20.
Minda Industries saw volume of 1 lakh shares, a 13.38-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock rose 13.07% to Rs 634.95 after the company said its net profit jumped 399.6% to Rs 25.58 crore on 32.5% rise in total income to Rs 368.83 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013. The Q2 result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 11 November 2014.
Hotel Leela Venture clocked volume of 20.41 lakh shares, a 10.45-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.95 lakh shares. The stock rose 16.63% to Rs 25.25.
Uflex saw volume of 6.40 lakh shares, a 7.75-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 83,000 shares. The stock rose 9.98% to Rs 174.10 after consolidated net profit rose 42.25% to Rs 65.11 crore on 9.17% rise in net sales to Rs 1610.20 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013. The result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 11 November 2014.
