Volumes jump at PVR counter

SKF India, Info Edge (India), Motherson Sumi Systems and JK Tyre & Industries are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 10 February 2015.

PVR clocked volume of 9.13 lakh shares by 12:43 IST on BSE, a 90.64-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock rose 0.16% to Rs 681.30 after 2.19% stake changed hands in a bulk deal on the BSE today, 10 February 2015. A bulk deal of 9.10 lakh shares was executed on the PVR scrip at Rs 680 per share at 09:45 IST on BSE.

SKF India notched up volume of 1.56 lakh shares, a 6.42-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock rose 1.54% to Rs 1,387.40.

Info Edge (India) saw volume of 76,000 shares, a 4.65-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock rose 1.97% to Rs 818.85.

Motherson Sumi Systems clocked volume of 4.38 lakh shares, a 4.39-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.26% to Rs 451.80.

JK Tyre & Industries saw volume of 11.94 lakh shares, a 3.59-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.32 lakh shares. The stock rose 13.47% to Rs 119.20 after consolidated net profit surged 55.5% to Rs 91.81 crore on 6.3% rise in total income to Rs 1842.29 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 9 February 2015.
