Redington India clocked volume of 11.23 lakh shares by 12:53 IST on BSE, a 129.40-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock spurted 7.02% to Rs 54.10.
Container Corporation of India notched up volume of 92,000 shares, a 32.33-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 2.88% to Rs 733.
Persistent Systems saw volume of 1.50 lakh shares, a 10.67-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock rose 2.55% to Rs 718 after hitting a record high of Rs 724 earlier today.
Bayer Cropscience clocked volume of 38,000 shares, a 3.62-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock rose 0.46% to Rs 1,615.
Dewan Housing Finance Corporation saw volume of 12.77 lakh shares, a 3.16-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.04 lakh shares. The stock surged 12.41% to Rs 146.30.
