Shoppers Stop clocked volume of 11.69 lakh shares by 13:43 IST on BSE, a 419.91-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock lost 2.04% at Rs 331.80.
JBF Industries notched up volume of 8.44 lakh shares, a 187.08-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock surged 3.95% at Rs 84.20.
Ajanta Pharma saw a volume of 3.14 lakh shares, a 32.1-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock spurted 14.91% to Rs 841 after the company during trading hours today, 28 October 2013 reported 155.07% jump in net profit to Rs 55.81 crore on 50.14% growth in total income from operations to Rs 279.83 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012.
Bayer Cropscience clocked volume of 62,000 shares, a 5.91-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock rose 0.3% to Rs 1685.
Alembic Pharmaceuticals saw volume of 3.45 lakh shares, a 4.75-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 73,000 shares. The stock jumped 7.84% at Rs 194.70.
