Somany Ceramics clocked volume of 2.09 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 38.09-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock rose 4.23% at Rs 411.80.
Elgi Equipments notched up volume of 6.12 lakh shares, a 10.59-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 58,000 shares. The stock surged 8.78% at Rs 161.
Bhushan Steel saw volume of 6.81 lakh shares, a 6.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.12 lakh shares. The stock jumped 14.61% at Rs 99.60.
Exide Industries clocked volume of 7.66 lakh shares, a 5.8-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.32 lakh shares. The stock gained 0.63% at Rs 182.60.
Simplex Infrastructures saw volume of 2.68 lakh shares, a 5.42-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 49,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.17% at Rs 471.30.
