Volumes jump at Wallfort Financial Services counter

Sabero Organics Gujarat, Finolex Industries, Inventure Growth & Securities, and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 4 December 2014.

Wallfort Financial Services clocked volume of 15.40 lakh shares by 13:38 IST on BSE, a 665.65-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock was locked at 5% upper circuit at Rs 54.95.

Sabero Organics Gujarat notched up volume of 3.44 lakh shares, a 214.3-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 2% at Rs 191.55.

Finolex Industries saw volume of 6.25 lakh shares, a 39.58-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock rose 1.71% at Rs 291.25.

Inventure Growth & Securities clocked volume of 43.53 lakh shares, a 31.7-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.37 lakh shares. The stock fell 1.77% at Rs 12.76.

Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (MCFL) saw volume of 8.76 lakh shares, a 15.85-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 55,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.85% at Rs 92.05 after Saroj Poddar-led Zuari group announced a voluntary open offer to acquire upto 3.07 crore shares constituting 25.9% stake in MCFL at Rs 91.92 per share.
