VST Industries said that the company has resumed its manufacturing operations with restricted capacity and manpower considering the permission granted by the State Government of Telangana.
The company is taking all precautionary measures in the factory premises/ offices to safeguard the health and safety of the employees/workers of the Company in line with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs under the National Directives.
The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 8 May 2020. Shares of VST Industries fell 1.31% to close at Rs 2,791.95 on 8 May 2020.
On 27 March 2020, VST Industries had informed about the suspension of manufacturing operations due to the lockdown on account of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic (COVID19).
VST Industries has a manufacturing facility at Hyderabad and Toopran (Telangana) and its principal activities are manufacture & sale of cigarettes and unmanufactured tobacco.
