At least 10 people were killed and 25 injured when a bus crashed into a hill in Peru's southern city Arequipa, police said.
An inter-province bus crashed Thursday on a highway linking Arequipa to Juliaca in the morning, the Peruvian National Police said.
The injured people were taken to hospitals in Arequipa. A preliminary investigation found that the bus driver lost control on a rough road in Peru's Andean zone, reports Xinhua.
Road accidents are frequent in Peru due to uneven ground of the Andes cordillera.
On Sunday, a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in the Peruvian Andes, killing at least 22 people and injuring 31 others.
