Eleven people were killed and at least 30 injured after a bus they were travelling in over-turned on Friday in West Bengal's Burdwan district, police said.
The accident occurred on the Burdwan-Katwa road when the driver lost control over the bus carrying over 70 passengers lost control and it overturned.
"So far 11 people, including two children, have been killed and 30 others have been rushed to hospital with injuries," police said.
"The bus was coming from Mayapur in Nadia district and the accident occurred due to over-speeding," added the officer.
