Fifteen people were killed and 25 injured on Tuesday when a bus fell into a canal in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The accident happened when the driver lost control over the bus while crossing a bridge over the canal near Langa Bamania.
The bus carrying members of a wedding party was on its way from Indore to Chandmota in Chhindwara district, Suhagpur SHO Priyadarshan Sidharth told IANS.
The injured were under treatment at various hospitals, he added.
