A 17-year-old Estonian girl Thursday has accused a Mumbai resident of raping her and threatening to kill her parents, according to a first information report filed at the Anjuna police station, 20 km from the capital.
In her complaint, the victim said that Shameem Peshimamm from Mumbai accosted her at Chapora, a notorious village and a hub of narcotics activity in North Goa, and raped her.
A police official said that the victim has also complained that the accused snatched her phone and threatened to kill and bury her parents if she complained to the police about the rape.
A complaint has been filed under relevant sections of the Goa Children's Act and the Indian Penal Code.
