A sex racket, allegedly involving 18 people, was busted here on Monday when police raided a place on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway.
Police said the eighteen people, including eight women from Delhi, were arrested for being allegedly involved in a prostitution business.
Acting on a tip off, a special police team, headed by woman police officer Inspector Umesh Bala, raided the spot under Rajiv Chowk flyover here on Delhi-Gurgaon expressway and arrested the accused early Monday.
Arrested under sections 3, 5, and 6 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, the 18 accused comprise -- eight married women, aged 18 to 25, from Delhi, five men, from Uttar Pradesh, three from Gurgaon and one each from Bihar and Uttarakhand.
